Every NEW Movie and series Disney announced at D23 2024

Last Friday Disney announced a horde of new projects at their D23 expo.
We were hit with a tonne of new announcements with projects announced for fan favourite franchises, such as, Incredibles, Toy Story, Frozen, Star Wars, Marvel and even Avatar.
Moana 2
Kicking off the Expo we had have Moana 2. This movie is set 3 years after the first Moana and once again she will team up with the demigod trickster to face a new threat to Oceania.
Production for the movie has already started and it's expected to hit the big screen in 2026.
Snow White
Snow White has been stuck in production for sometime now. Despite filming wrapping up in 2022 the film was delayed with Disney claiming the 2023 SAG-AFTRA as the reason.
Controversy aside the trailer gives us our first look at the heavily CGI'd world with the Princess, Snow White, being played by Rachel Zegler and the Evil Queen being played by Gal Gadot.
Snow White will hit the big screen on March 21st 2025
Lilo and Stich
Lilo and Stitch is yet another of Disney classics that will be getting a live-action remake.
The 2002 cult classis series has a movie production in the works. Despite only getting a teaser trailer Disney were able to give us a release date of for this project.
Lilo and Stitch will hit the big screen in Summer 2025
Incredibles 3
The Incredibles, one of our very favourite super powered families is getting a third instalment on the big screen.
Incredibles 2 was the second highest grossing animated film, behind Inside Out 2, and it has been confirmed that long-time writer and director, Brad Bird, will be returning for the third instalment of the franchise.
Sadly, we were only given a teaser trailer and no release date for the Incredibles 3 has been announced yet.
Toy Story 5
I know what you're thinking, "Another one?" While a lot of people think we the series should have ended at Toy Story 3 Disney thinks otherwise and have decided to bless us with a fifth instalment to the series.
"This time around toys meet tech," director Andrew Stanton said, as Woody and the gang in this movie will fight to stop their child from becoming an iPad kid.
Toy Story 5 will hit the big screen in Summer 2026.
Frozen 3

Frozen 3 was one of the many sequels announced at D23.
Frozen 3 isn't the only Frozen relate works Frozen fans will have to look forwards to in the future, with a pro-shot for the Frozen Broadway Musical hitting Disney+ some time in 2025 and plans for Frozen 4 being in the works. Despite only a teaser trailer being shown at D23 the future looks very good for Frozen fans.
Frozen 3 will be hitting the big screens in 2027.
Zootopia

Surprise, surprise yet another sequel. Who saw this coming? The buddy cop Bunny and her blackmailing con artist fox companion are back. The two return to the big screen this time accompanied by Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan as a snake called Gary.
Zootopia 2 will hit the big screen on November 26th 2025
Star Wars: Now Skeleton Crew
Now Star Wars fans are always happy to have more Star Wars fan are ALWAYS happy to have more Star Wars.
Skeleton Crew is set years after the Return of the Jedi during the New Republic Era. Based of a plot synopsis it will be about four kids lost in the galaxy trying to make their way home. Jude Law will be making his Star Wars debut as force user named, Jod Na Nawood.
In a first look in the trailer we got to see what the suburbs of the Star Wars universe were like and they appear to be heavily inspired from classic Stephan Spielberg movies like ET and Hook
Hopefully, Star Wars fans will embrace this project with open arms as Star Wars: Crews premiers on Disney+ December 3rd this year.
Agatha All Along
Now, finally on to a Marvel project. Kathyrn Hill will Reprise her role as the witch Agatha Harkness in a sequel to the WandaVision series, titled, Agatha All Along.
The show will follow Hahn as she seeks to gain her powers back after the aftermath of WandaVision.
Agatha All Along will premier on Disney+ on September 18 2025
Fantastic Four

Fans at the D23 expo got an exclusive look at the sneak peak teaser trailer for Marvel's The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
This was the same trailer as the one shown at SDCC last month and had a lot of test footage and conceptual pre-visualization reels. Sadly, an official trailer has not been released online but many fans ended up recording the sneak peak so it is accessible on social media after a quick google search.
Fanatic Four: First Steps will hit the big screen on 25th July 2025.
Mufasa: The Lion King
Everyone loves the Lion King but for years we have always wondered how did the relationship between Mufasa and Scar get so bitter? Finally, after more than 30 years we will be getting an answer in Mufasa: The Lion King. While a lot of fans were sceptical at the sequel due to the CGI lions but, thankfully, it appears the facial expressions of the lions are a lot more expressive than the previous movie.
Ironheart
In 2022's Black Panther Wakanda Forever marvel fans were introduced to their first look at Riri Williams, also known as Ironheart, as a stand alone hero in very very own solo project. At the D23 Expo fan's were treated to an exclusive snippet of unreleased footage of Riri working on a new suit for herself.
The Ironheart series will premier on Disney+ in 2025.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2
The new season of Percy Jackson is currently in production. We are heading back to camp half blood with season 2 of Percy Jackson based on the second novel of the series The Sea of Monsters.
Percy Jackson Season 2 will debut on Disney+ some time in 2025
